Supervision Services
Welcome to our supervision services. We offer supervision in-person or virtually to individuals residing anywhere in the province of Ontario. We provide supervision to those who are registering with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario for supervised practice and advanced doctoral students in psychology (i.e., post practicum).
One of our key strengths is having a diverse group of clinicians who are warm and supportive. Our aim is to grow together with people who are committed to ongoing learning and personal development.
Supervision for assessment services is available for clinicians with extensive experience in conducting psychoeducational assessments. These assessments may include evaluations for ADHD, learning disabilities, and giftedness, and are offered for clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults.
Supervision for psychotherapy typically involves advanced training in evidence-based modalities such as emotion focused therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, and interpersonal therapy.
Supervision and training are important areas of our practice. We provide collaborative and supportive supervision that addresses your specific goals with the aim of facilitating professional growth and developing metacompetence. We seek to build on your unique treatment style within an encouraging and reflective supervisory relationship and provide the opportunity to learn different therapeutic modalities. Together we explore your interpersonal connection to your clients with the aim of effectively developing a genuine and strong therapeutic alliance, as well as building solid conceptualization skills.
We value a supervision process that will optimize your strengths, adapt to your training needs and encourage you to explore thoughts, feelings, and actions that are not always easy to discuss.
In addition to individual supervision, you will have the opportunity to participate in our lively, supportive, and collaborative group clinical meetings. Being connected to the team provides a unique opportunity to share knowledge, watch videos that demonstrate different therapy techniques, and view presentations on special topics. We have several other types of group meetings at our practice, including an Emotion Focused Therapy group, Schema Therapy group, ADHD training and consultation group, and a couples’ therapy group. We are currently hosting all of our professional development and training through Zoom to ensure ease of access and inclusion.
Please note that we unfortunately do not have practicum or internship opportunities available.
