Online Sport & Performance Services

Hone Your Mental Game. Imagine What Is Possible.

Welcome to our online sport & performance training services for residents across the province of Ontario.

Our treatment is tailored to help athletes, performers (e.g., dancers and musicians), and professionals (e.g., coaches). Together we take a deeper look at your inner world to support your performance and break through any self-imposed limitations.

We work with children, adolescents and adults who want to reach new heights in their performance. Whatever your calling, no matter what obstacle, our aim is to help you level up. We strive to integrate your knowledge with our training in scientific and research-informed principles to target your specific needs. Together, we will collaborate with you and design a treatment plan that will build, strengthen, and hone your mental game.

Sports and performance psychology is the science behind how our brain contributes to our successes and failures. Reaching peak performance involves more than intense practice or top physical fitness. The mental game is more than half the battle.

We believe that greater self-discovery leads to peak performance. Our thoughts, feelings, images, and decisions set up each action we take. We become the stories we tell about ourselves: thoughts and emotions lead to patterns and patterns become habits. The mental game is indelibly tied to mastering a skill.

It is important to distinguish when errors are related to mental aspects of the game rather than due to physical performance. Here are some examples to reflect on:

  • You perform much better in practice than during competition
  • You find it more difficult to perform well when others are watching you
  • You feel anxious or scared when you perform in competition
  • You have difficulty coping with the stress or pressure of competition
  • You are not sure why you play your sport or what motivates you
  • You only participate to feel better about yourself as a person
  • You lose focus or have mental lapses during critical times of the game
  • You can’t perform the way you did pre-injury, but are physically 100%

How We Can Help:

  • Improving focus and dealing with distractions and fears
  • Improving and balancing motivation for optimal performance
  • Developing confidence and coping skills to overcome setbacks and handle pressure
  • Finding the right zone of intensity for your sport or performance
  • Growing your confidence and instilling a healthy belief system
  • Improving the quality and efficacy of your practice
  • Getting back into competition after an injury is healed fully
  • Helping to build an effective pre-shot and pre-game routine
  • Preparing for competition and developing game-specific strategies
