Dr. Justine Ledochowski, PhD, C.Psych.
Clinical & Neuropsychologist

Dr. Justine Ledochowski is a registered Psychologist practicing in the areas of Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology with children and adolescents. She is expanding her practice to include Clinical Psychology with adults, providing assessments and therapy under the supervision of registered psychologists. Dr. Ledochowski holds a client-centered, strengths-based approach that is grounded in evidence-based practices.

At Toronto Psychology Centre, Dr. Ledochowski offers comprehensive psychological assessments addressing learning difficulties, ADHD, and Autism as well as neuropsychological assessments for children or adolescents who have medical conditions impacting the central nervous system.

Dr. Ledochowski also provides individual therapy using an integrative approach that draws from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

In therapy, she strives to create a genuine, compassionate and collaborative space where her clients feel safe and heard as they explore their experiences and work towards meaningful change. Some areas that she provides therapeutic support for include anxiety, depression, self-criticism, perfectionism, and adjustment to life transitions.

When conducting assessments, Dr. Ledochowski takes into account the unique context of each person’s personal history and environment and how these factors might impact their thinking, learning, and behaviour. She aims to communicate assessment findings in a way that is understandable and to provide practical recommendations.

Dr. Ledochowski completed her graduate training at York University in Clinical Developmental Psychology with Neuropsychology Specialization. She completed her pre-doctoral residency in Pediatric Psychology and a 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at the Hospital for Sick Children. She has trained and worked across a range of settings including hospitals, university clinics, non-profit developmental services, and private practice.

In addition to her role at Toronto Psychology Centre, Dr. Ledochowski is a psychologist in the SickKids Research Institute Neurosciences and Mental Health Program where she contributes to research examining brain and mental health in young people living with rheumatic disease, primarily pediatric lupus, to inform approaches to comprehensive care.
