Sara Rumble, MSW, RSW, Social Worker

Sara Rumble is a registered social worker with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Toronto. She works with children (approximately age 8+), adolescents, young adults, and adults. She tailors therapy to each client’s goals, context, and needs. Her approach is collaborative and relational, balancing practical strategies with deeper exploration of life experiences and emotional patterns that may be contributing to what feels stuck.

Sara works with concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, emotional regulation difficulties, OCD, neurodiversity (including autism and ADHD), relationship challenges, and periods of significant stress or transition. With children and adolescents, she understands that experiences are not always easy to put into words, and she works in ways that help young people feel supported without being overwhelmed. With young adults and adults, she helps clients clarify patterns, reduce emotional distress, and work through long-standing concerns in a respectful, supportive way.

Sara’s clinical background includes both private practice and hospital-based work. She worked within the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Complex Care Program at the Hospital for Sick Children, supporting children and families as part of interdisciplinary teams in high-stress and emotionally complex situations. This experience shaped her steady, safety-centred approach and strengthened the developmental lens she brings to therapy.

Her work is integrative and evidence-based, drawing on approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and emotion-focused/relational work. She is particularly experienced in supporting neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan, including clients navigating autism, ADHD, demand avoidance, emotional intensity, or self-harm concerns.

Sara is a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Registered Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
